Maple bacon brussel sprouts

Maple bacon brussel sprouts
Ingredients
3 cups brussel sprouts
4 slices bacon
1 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic
3 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp bacon grease.
Directions
Halve large sprouts, leave small ones whole; chop garlic.
Microwave sprouts with a little water for 4 min.
Melt butter in a pan; cook bacon separately, save 2 tbsp bacon grease.
Sear sprouts over medium heat cut side down until golden ~5 min, add garlic and cook 1 min.
Reduce heat, cook 7 min.
Add maple syrup, cook 5 min until reduced, then add bacon grease.
Chop bacon, mix in, and serve.
